Lead Management in the Banking Sector

Problem :

  • Integrating and augmenting their customer’s policy input data, 3rd party external data, internal risk factor data and finally policy quote data to build a platform for enterprise analytics
  • Working with client modeling teams to implement the new approach utilizing SAS

Solution :

  • We introduced SAS both as a new technology and a core solution platform for advance Enterprise Analytics
  • We were responsible for SAS platform installation / configuration, solution development and post deployment support for various SAS products that were used with in the firm
  • Developed an implementation approach for deploying flexible, scalable, reusable, and business customizable models across the enterprise for faster time-to-market
  • Developed a business-critical scoring engine which would assume the core functionality of scoring each of the client’s insurance policies
  • SAS Solution : SAS Office Analytics 9.4, Access / Hadoop, Clustered Architecture

Outcome :

  • Our solution was instrumental generating faster customer response time, improving customer satisfaction and enabling faster decision making
  • The solution brought down the scoring time of a policy from a matter of minutes to a factor of just short of 5 seconds
  • The predictive models were deployed at an enterprise level to be consumed by multiple business groups; this facilitated enhanced collaboration based on critical business insights
